Blog Action Day 2007

October 15, 2007 on 6:48 pm | In podcast | No Comments

Hello Friends!  Today I’m writing a post for Blog Action Day- the theme is environmental-so that includes WREN Radio!  One thing us coffee drinkers can do to help our fine feathered friends is to drink organic  or shade grown coffee.  The way coffee is currently farmed is on big plantations that have wiped out a lot of bird habitat in South America.  The smaller organic/or shade grown farms offers the birds more habitat for their wintering grounds.  Organic or shade grown coffee cost a little more than commercial, but tastes a lot better!  thanks for listening to WREN Radio!  Wren
